Ahh, Fall.
If you’re a regular reader of this blog, then you know how much I love fall. The cooler weather, the start of football, and the leaves changing color. Plus I think a cup of coffee tastes just a bit better on a crisp Autumn day. Don’t you agree?
Now I know all the internet loves all things pumpkin, and in particular pumpkin spice lattes. Me on the other hand? I want all things salted caramel. Brownies, cupcakes, apple dip, salted caramel goes with them all. My favorite way to enjoy it though? Mixed in coffee. Imagine my joy when I was shopping at Kroger and came across the International Delight® Coffee Creamers. One of the flavors was Salted Caramel Mocha. I was pretty excited, and grabbed it right up.
They also have pumpkin pie spice, frosted sugar cookie, white chocolate mocha, and peppermint mocha. So many yummy choices friends. So many choices! Just think of all the delicious coffee drinks you could make!
So, with this creamer in my cart I continued my shopping and found myself in the coffee aisle. Instead of grabbing my usual plain coffee, I decided to take a look at the flavored coffee. As I was browsing my eyes fell upon the Dunkin Donuts® flavors. In particular their Bakery Series® flavors. You can choose from vanilla cupcake, cinnamon roll, and chocolate glazed donut.
So what coffee did I choose? I went with Dunkin Donuts® Bakery Series® Caramel Coffee Cake.
Caramel coffee cake, and salted caramel mocha. Doesn’t that just sound ah-mazing?
So I got home all excited to try this new combo, and… my coffee maker stopped working. I was very sad. Luckily for me my parents live close by. I was able to borrow it and brew myself a cup.
I was so happy with how these flavors came together. So smooth and sweet. So, how did I make this drink?
