Red Velvet Cookies
Ingredients
  • 3 1/2cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2cup cocoa
  • 1cup sugar
  • 3/4cup powder sugar
  • 1/4 cup pwder butter milk
  • 1cup butter
  • 2-3tablespoons mil
  • 1-2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1teasspoon vinegar
  • 1teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar together.
  2. Add egg, vanilla, milk and red food coloring to butter mixture.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, powdered buttermilk, and cocoa together
  4. Add dry mixture to wet, then add vinegar. Stir. If to dry add a little more milk.
  5. Roll dough to 1/2-3/4 inch thick, use cookie cutters to cut into desired shape, and bake for 7-10 minutes at 350 degrees,
  6. Let cool, then decorate using either royal icing, or cream cheese frosting.
