This recipe has been on the back burner for a while now. I made it for Mother’s Day, and it was a hit. I had totally wanted to get this posted before, but the first pictures I took just didn’t turn out. So I had to make it again (darn it) so I could take some better pictures.
What is so great about this dessert is that it is super easy to make.
First up is to make some brownies (enough for an 8 x 8 pan). You can make them from scratch, or use a box,
You will also need to make some sweet cream topping (you can find the recipe below).
To assemble the parfait:
ONE:
Break apart the brownies and put some at the bottom of a glass.
TWO:
Layer it with the sweet whipped cream.
THREE:
Follow that with caramel sauce. It can either be store bought or homemade.
FOUR:
Sprinkle pecans on top of the caramel.
FIVE:
Repeat a layer of brownies, then top that with sweetened whipped cream. Then drizzle with chocolate and caramel.
And that’s it!
